Reviving Transparency

The new project upheld the architect’s vision and the concept of transparency, while seeking to inject life and openness to the space, catering both to building occupants and the public. The project introduces a variety of additional spaces and amenities, including retail. Significant alterations will be made to the façades, currently obscured behind green curtains. Restored to their original, fully glazed state, their transparency will come to the fore.

Deerns Solutions

The architect’s legacy posed a considerable challenge, intricately connected with the project’s circularity and the parties involved. Having previously collaborated with the client in 2019, the Deerns team stayed on board for the building renovation, transforming it into new headquarters for Deerns Italia. This complexity was further compounded by extensive digital innovation implemented across the building, earning it WiredScore Platinum certification along the pathway to prestigious LEED Platinum certification.
