Expanded Services for Exceptional Care
The state-of-the-art facility significantly enhances the spectrum of services available, particularly in emergency care, intensive care, and the paediatric surgery department on the Pellegrin campus. Built with GTM Bâtiment Aquitaine and Deerns, the CHU de Bordeaux hospital is equipped to provide exceptional medical services.
Deerns Solutions
Deerns devised innovative solutions to optimise energy efficiency, implementing thermal hydraulic network energy recovery systems and, for the operating rooms, creating an “economy” mode to minimise energy consumption during periods of inactivity. Deerns offered technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, GTB, and pneumatic transport systems. An energy strategy integrates the energy infrastructure of the new building into the existing Pellegrin campus. Energy efficiency was significantly enhanced by using heat recovery mechanisms, while tablet-controlled, economy-mode operations optimise operating room energy management.
