The Hague, 23 October 2026 — Deerns’ continued growth in Brazil is recognised as the engineering consultancy climbs in prestigious national rankings.
Deerns is continuing to reap rewards from its commitment to growth in Brazil. The company has built on the success of recent years seeing improvements in both its national ranking and ranking within the São Paulo region in this year’s OE 500.
Compiled by the influential engineering publication O Empreiteiro, the annual OE 500 ranks engineering and construction firms according to gross revenue.
Speaking of the ranking announcement, Anderson Assunção, Country Director for Brazil said: “We’re delighted to be acknowledged as one of the top engineering firms in the country, and in the São Paulo area. This is the fourth year we have been part of this key ranking. This achievement is a result of our commitment to growth, building on our strong experience within the data centre market and across our other sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, electronics and real estate.”
Brazil is leading the way for data centre development in Latin America with abundant renewable energy resources, a favourable policy environment and strong water infrastructure all driving progress. The Deerns team works with major industry players in the country’s Data Centre market in developing resilient, efficient and socially acceptable facilities.
Expertise in key sectors
As well as its success in the data centre sector, Deerns has also grown in its other focus areas of healthcare, airports, life sciences, real estate and electronics. Tapping into the company’s global network, Deerns offers customers the benefit of experience gathered on major projects around the world. Alongside strategic consulting, systems design and specialised engineering, Deerns is supporting clients as they progress through sustainability and energy transitions and embrace the opportunities presented by smart building design and automation.
Deerns’ consistent performance in the OE 500 is reinforced by other national recognition such as in the 2025 EXAME Business in Expansion ranking where the company was named among the 100 fastest-growing companies in Brazil in the category with revenues between Brazilian Real (R$) 30 million and R$100 million.
Anderson continues, “Our success reflects the quality of the work we do for our clients. We continually strive to understand and anticipate their challenges and guide them through a rapidly changing regulatory environment. We look forward to continuing our efforts as we work together to meet changing demands, social expectations and environmental pressures.”
