Deerns names Ravindra Burse as Country Director India

The Hague, 29 April 2026 — International engineering consultancy Deerns, has announced Ravindra Burse as the Unit Director Life Sciences and Electronics, India as well as Country Director for India.

Ravindra will be responsible for driving growth in the Indian market which includes major projects in the electronics, life sciences and data centre sectors. He will also seek to explore the significant further potential in India’s data centre sector as the country expects to see the value of this industry double by 2030.

During Ravindra’s tenure as Operations Manager, Deerns worked on delivering large projects with major local and international clients, including an aromatics production facility, a veterinary medicine production facility, a clean room for solar panel manufacturing, a high-end diagnostics centre with biosafety level 3 clean rooms, multiple hyperscale data centre projects and a first of its kind AI Giga Factory. The team is proud of these projects and keen to continue pushing for new heights.

In addition, thanks to significant growth, Deerns recently moved to a bigger and better office space in Mumbai with capacity for up to 80 employees. The relocation comes less than two years after Deerns formalised a strategic joint venture with Spectrum PharmaTECH and started Deerns India.

This success puts Ravindra in a strong position as he seeks to further strengthen Deerns’ market position in India. Speaking of his appointments, Ravindra said: “Our business has been going from strength to strength. We are working with highly ambitious clients on major projects and there is more on the way.”

Tjerk van der Meer, CEO of Deerns said: “Our team in India have already made a remarkable impact in key sectors with major contributions to data centre, semi-conductor and health care projects. I have no doubt that Ravindra will continue with his enthusiasm and energy in his new roles. I look forward to working with him as we pursue an ambitious growth strategy for our operations in India.”

Ravindra continues: “It’s been a fantastic to secure new opportunities with the local team and we will ensure we can continue to deliver excellence for our clients.”
