São Paulo, 30 September 2024 – Deerns, a leading international consultancy and engineering company has received the Infrão 2024 Award as the best company in mission-critical engineering projects in Brazil. The award is hosted by the National Institute of Civil Engineering (INEC) and the Federal Engineering Council (CONFEA), to recognise companies and people for outstanding engineering.
Gabriel Pereira, Projects Director at Deerns in Brazil, accepted the award. He emphasised the importance of this recognition in the mission-critical engineering segment. ‘This award was a wonderful and unexpected surprise. We are very proud of this recognition, which affirms our commitment to quality and cutting-edge engineering in all the projects we develop,’ he says. ‘It was a very important achievement for Deerns and the whole team.’

The Infrão Award is aimed at companies that supply goods, products and services in the heavy construction industry. It has the support of important organisations such as the Federal Government, the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), the Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Basic Industries (ABDIB), the National Department of Infrastructure and Transport (DNIT), the National Association of Road Works Companies (ANEOR) and the group Engineers Without Borders Brazil.
