Deerns, in collaboration with Techproject, marks the official launch of its new office in Rome, Italy with a seminar: "BIM in complex infrastructure projects". Moderating the seminar is scientific advisor Professor Aldo Norsa.
Deerns will address environmental and sustainability systems on the topic of BIM. Presentations by Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia and Techproject, architects and infrastructure engineers respectively, are also on the programme. Engineers from the Rome University of Engineering and Milan Polytechnic will discuss the structural aspects of BIM.
The management of BIM interdisciplinary integration will follow, presented by Domenico Spanó, BIM implementation engineer. Appling BIM in the management of complex aviation structures will be the topic covered by Andrea Guglielmi, director of infrastructure, Gestione Servizi Aeroporti Campani (GESAC). GESAC is the airport management company of Naples and Salerno airports.
