Deerns harnesses technical developments to shape new framework for pharmaceutical facility design.
Developments in advanced engineering tools such as BIM, CFD simulations and risk analysis are having a significant impact on the development of complex cleanrooms. Transforming them from a static environment to dynamic, intelligent ecosystems.
Conventional cleanrooms operated with constant parameters which by necessity these tended to be conservative compared to real operating conditions. Now, thanks to advanced sensors, continuous monitoring and automation systems supported by artificial intelligence, it is possible to modulate air exchanges and HVAC performance according to actual, real time operating conditions, without compromising quality and compliance.
This leads to more energy efficient, flexible and resilient facilities, able to adapt to changing needs and compliance demands. By leveraging advanced digital twin modelling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations from the earliest stages of a design Deerns offers a new cutting edge framework to accelerate this route.
The “Compliance-by-design” framework for pharmaceutical development facilities, translates the ambition to accommodate stringent and evolving compliance needs into deliverable engineering at an accelerated pace.
