Here’s where we drive Data Centre Sustainability

Deerns is a proud sponsor of the DCD>Major Panel “From net-zero pledges to practice – Where does the industry go from here?!” at DCD>Connect London on 18 September.

On 18 September 2024, the major panel will focus on how can we build and operate better data centres for a more sustainable future. What should the industry’s priorities be moving forward?

At Deerns, we are encouraged to see the recent progress in reporting standards, the data centre industry’s adoption of renewable energy, and the ongoing development of energy-efficient technologies. But more is needed. We are constantly collaborating with industry leaders to innovate new approaches and solutions for a more sustainable future.

Deerns’ Associate Director – Building Physics and Sustainability, Nzube Igwume will also take part in a key debate focusing on “The rise of hybrid cooling – has the air vs liquid debate finally come to an end?” at DCD>Connect London on 17 September.

Together with other data centre cooling experts, Nzube will be explore whether we are entering a new era hybrid cooling dominance and what that means for innovation, competition, and flexibility.
