CFD simulations

The building simulation program VA114 is used to give a good insight into comfort, energy use and the necessary control techniques for a room in a building.

The effect of a certain glass percentage or type of sun screen on the interior temperature is assessed. Furthermore, the effect of heated and cooled walls or floors and night ventilation are looked in to. The results of the computations are also used as boundary conditions for CFD-simulations, which further detail the level of comfort.
